Who We Are
What is The Journey?
The Journey is intentional discipleship for the next generation at KSU.
We're striving to live like Jesus, love like Jesus, and make disciples like Jesus. We do this through fellowship, journey groups, worship, prayer, and service.
Some of us are new and just beginning the journey; some of us have been on the path for a good long time and most of us are somewhere along the way. At The Journey KSU you will be loved and encouraged wherever you are!
What We Believe:
We believe in God, and God believes in you.
We believe Jesus was intentional about discipleship, and that we should be too. For three years Jesus invested himself in the lives of twelve others who would eventually take up the work he had begun. He gave them a call (live like me), a command (love as I have loved), and a commission (make disciples in my name).
We believe that life is something to be cherished; we believe it is a gift from God. It promises to be abundant when lived in the knowledge & love of Jesus.
We are boldly proclaiming that God came to earth 2000 years ago in Jesus Christ. In Him - His words, His acts of kindness, His death on the cross, and His being raised from the dead - we find life. While the world is constantly changing, these things of long ago are still our truth today.
Come discover the person & teachings of Jesus Christ with us. We want to discover life abundant with you.
How To Find Us:
ON CAMPUS AT KSU: We have a small cubicle on the 3rd Floor of the KSU Carmichael Student Center (Bldg 5). It's cube #6. There you'll find brochures, information, a place to study or meet with our staff, and a small but growing library of books that you can borrow and return at your leisure. Journey Groups enjoy using it as a space to meet weekly also.
FIRST UNITED LUTHERAN CHURCH: Located on the West side of Campus, at 3481 Campus Loop Road. Beginning January 9th, 2012, we will meet there every Monday evening at 8pm for Worship, and we're also in the process of establishing a regular office in the church.
